A nice feature is that you are NOT tied to Boundary books, I installed a Kindle reader and now I gain access to the Kindle library which is very extensive. You can also check around to compare prices on ebooks. I could not help make the BN reader to work yet

About the apps, if you search around a little you will find many apk free, such as google maps (no gps), games, youtube, email clients, etc. Some of the applications can not be installed since it is dependant on android 2. 0 but I wasn't expecting the Cruz to become a full tablet since the beginning
